With spot live, Decibel moves to a single fee schedule covering both products. Base rates are higher than the pre-spot perps schedule, and the tier thresholds that discount them are lower — so the discounts start earlier and compound faster.
One tier, both products
Perps and spot share one fee tier. Your tier comes from a single weighted volume figure that combines both products, so trading spot lowers your perps fees and trading perps lowers your spot fees.
Weighted 30D Volume = 30D Perps Notional + 4 × 30D Spot Notional
Spot notional counts 4x toward your tier. Spot generates more fees per dollar of notional and carries no leverage, so a dollar of spot volume earns more tier credit than a dollar of perps volume.

One tier ladder, two rate sets. Your weighted volume sets the tier, and the tier sets both your perps rates and your spot rates.

Lower thresholds, easier tier access
Tier cutoffs have been lowered across the ladder — tier 1 now begins at $1M weighted 30-day volume, and every tier above it steps down in turn. Combined with the 4x spot weight, most active accounts reach a discounted tier sooner than they did before. Maker fees drop to zero from tier 4 up, rewarding users who provide liquidity.
For example, $600K of perps notional and $150K of spot notional over the last 30 days is a weighted volume of $600K + 4 × $150K = $1.2M — tier 1, or 0.040% taker on perps and 0.060% taker on spot.
Streaks
Streak requirements have been raised alongside this update. Spot markets add more ways to hit a qualifying day, so the daily bar to keep a streak alive moves up to match. Your current streak is shown on the points page.

Only 90% of your DLP NAV counts toward margin. The 10% haircut is a buffer against vault NAV moves and shared liquidation risk — your DLP collateral can be partially or fully liquidated if your positions move hard against you.
